Her Colorful Past
Nicole Chayka has a long resume of careers. None of it quite as interesting as train robber or International Spy, but she is hopeful that ‘it ain’t over til the fat lady sings.’ Prior to Co-authoring the Fringe Dweller, Nicole was a member of IATSI Local 891, faux-finishing film sets for movies. Then when her back insisted it had had enough of that, she decided to support her long time friend Monica Holy in ‘getting the artwork out there – detachment from the outcome’.
That was four years ago.
Her Passionate Present
Today Nicole works Publicity for the Fringe Dweller and has decided to put her seriously warped sensibilities out there in the form of blogging. Knowing Monica since adolescence has helped her to have a unique perspective into the ongoing saga that is the Fringe Dweller’s life, and she would like to share that insight with others out there who love and support someone weird and wonderful in their lives.
Of course Nicole has her own brand of weirdness. Telepaths hear your thoughts, but Empaths f-e-e-l your emotions. Being an Empath since birth truly made her adolescence years, umm, to be polite, unique. Combine that with befriending a Fringe Dweller AND another friend who sees angels and 25 years later you definitely have something to blog about.
Her Very Direct Future
“Coming out of the Psychic Closet“ irreverent, funny and raw as Nicole discusses the Paranormal with a ‘no holds barred’ attitude. If you don’t like the occasional cuss word she suggests you don’t read it. At 19 her mother told her she had a ‘mouth like a truck driver’ and unfortunately, she agrees.
